CS5 missing outline of new text boxes

      CS5, started a new document, based on an earlier one. But when I mark a text box, the outline does not come ut as usual in black, with handles, but comes up in white, I can barely see the handles. Making a new texbox (with T) same thing, does not show at all on white background, but writen text shown. All other (earlier) documents show marked textboxes and new empty text boxes as the usual rectangle.Just this new document. I have tried repair permissions, restarting, but am at wits end.

      Make sure you have “show text frames” checked under “view” > “extras”

      I meant “show frame edges”

      Also, check the Layers panel and see what the “color” of the layer is. Each layer has a color, and that’s the color of the selection handles.
