CS5 files are invisible when saved to server

Not sure why but when I save ID or AI files (CS5) to the server (La Cie NAS drive) they are invisible. PITA. I only found out when I did a save as to the desktop and when I went to copy to the server I was told I could not replace the file because it's invisible. I posted on the ID forum – or maybe here at another time – and someone said you can't save to an HD via appleshare. How else would you share files off an external HD? I went out and got a new HD since I needed the room. Right now I have the computer mounted to one computer and will hopefully be able to use file sharing for the other computer to see and use files. My question: is this a CS5 glitch only? I never had the problem in CS4 or CS4. I can't buy CS5 for my other workstation until I resolve how to get CS5 files to save to the external HD successfully.

Sorry you are having problems but at least you are not alone. We recently updated our Power Mac's to Intel Mac's and also updated from CS4 to CS5.5. We can not save files to our external Server (HD) without them becoming invisible. It happens when you make a PDF as well. We have to save everything to our desktop first and than drag to the appropriate client folder on the server. I would love to find someone with a fix to this.
