I am furious regarding the new Adobe policy to remove older versions of software from Creative Cloud.

As to impact, I am still trying to get back to work six hours later. I have overcome one issue (an Action that would not work) but am now waiting Esko Tech Support to resolve the failure of my Esko plug-ins to load. After that who knows what hidden incompatibilities will endanger my work and productivity?

This is an unconscionable decision by a company that obviously need governmental regulation to stop it from abusing its monopoly position.

Many shops use older versions that are part of stable environments that include third-party plug-ins and multiple users. Using the latest and greatest is not nearly as important as a stable environment that works everyday.

Furthermore, in attempting to contact senior members of Adobe their Tech Support seems to be entirely based in India. This is simply not good enough.

There is an very simple way for you: Don’t update!

As a matter of fact, It is your own responsibility, that you don’t update your app’s before you know that all plug-in can handle the update.

So dont blame Adobe, but blame yourself.

It has been this way for as long as i can remember.
