      Hello,

This may be more of an illustrator thing, but I am far more comfortable working in Indesign so hopefully there is a solution…

Can anyone tell me how I can export a graphic or logo that I have drawn in Indesign to jpg, png, tif or similar, so that it can be used in other files without having a white background? I’m sure it must be pretty simple, but I just can’t figure it out.

      Many thanks!

You can use File > Export and save it as a png. But activate the option Transparent Background.

Hello, thank you for your reply! I have just tried to export to png, but I don’t see that option on drop down menu. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I have CS5.5 if that makes any difference…
