      Hello:

In an interactive PDF, I have a a TOC with page # buttons that send the user off to the appropriate sections of the PDF. I'm thinking that it would be nice to allow users to access the TOC from any page, but rather than send the user to the literal TOC document page, I would rather have a popup facsimile appear – kind of like a submodal dialog on the web. I'm noticing that I can't really group the existing TOC objects and turn them into a button – ID has a problem with that (presumably because there are already buttons in the TOC listing).

I guess this is where I should use a multi-state object, but I'm not sure how to proceed. Any ideas how to go about this?
