      Hi Amit,

As you know InDesign’s Text Variables are limited. I would suggest to use Power Headers from in-tools.com. Though I haven’t tried it, but I have heard it is good.

Meanwhile, I’ll try to figure out some quick ways.

I agree with Masood… PowerHeaders is the best tool for doing complex headings.

      Hi Masood / David,

Thanks you so much for your suggestions. I will try PowerHeaders. Meanwhile, if there any tweaks, please let me know.

      Regards, Amit

Totally agree with the others about PowerHeaders. You could probably do it with variables, but it would be diffiult and there would be no easy explanation on how to do it.

      Thanks Dwayne for your suggestion.

Powerheaders looks complex to use in InDesign and I have expected to the experts would be figure out this problem with the InDesign itself.

Adobe will take care of their next update of InDesign, that would be great.

      Anyway, thanks to all.

I agree with Masood suggestion. Power Headers is the best tool for doing complex headings.
