      — create object growing progressive pages

      hi!

I need help and I hope you can help me understand.

I’m working on a file layout of a book.

      My problem is this.

I would like to create an object whose size is proportional to the number of the page where it is located.
I would like to create a rectangle that grows only in the normal size of the width and have a fixed height.

In practice, I would like to have an object that grows progressively as the number of pages as a “loader” or a time line progressive.

how can I create a similar item?
creating a script or some special way? (Use indesign for a short time).
I would like to have a rectangle object to which I give a maximum size (Final Form). This rectangle starts from 0 up to 100% of its maximum value.

thanks to all who help me in this discussion.

Probably the easiest way is to use the Chartwell font:

      or

but use a “bar chart” instead of a pie chart. It would grow as the number increases.
