      Hi !

      I made a book in inDesign (7 files +/-1200p).

When i export it to PDF (no matter i export it in high, low quality, etc…), indesign crashes.

I don’t think a page is corrupt because it never crashes at the same page (getting around 900-1100 it crashes). I think it’s because it’s a large file.

I have seen other topics with the same problem here but it didn’t help me (” Toggle Tagged PDF On and Off” for example).

1/ Is there a way i can export large file without crashing ? If no, i can still export into parts and merge them in Acrobat.
I think that’s the easiest solution. I try it that works ! But then here is my other question :

2/ When i export pdf in inDesign, i have settings that i want to keep (compression, output, etc.).
When i merge files in Acrobat i have to save the new file. Does that keep my settings ?

      Thanks !

      UPDATE :

for people who encounter the same problem, I’ve installed Indesign CC 2015 and export to PDF without ANY PROBLEMS ! XD

It seems that “export” is much more stable on CC than on CS6.

I’m glad you got it working!

But to your question: Yes, if you combine multiple PDF files in Acrobat, they retain their same settings.
