      In the Links Panel/Utilities/Copy Link(s) to . . .

      I can copy the links of selected images into a folder on my desktop. But it immediately flags the same images in my document as missing. But it’s not actually moving the files, it really is copying them like it’s supposed to. If I close the document and reopen it, the images are linked again. I’ve used this feature in years past and never had this problem.

      What version of InDesign? What operating system?

      InDesign 2018, Mac OS 10.11.6
