Collaborative Adobe Cloud – will it work?

      Hi. For a long time, I worked in companies that liked to use tools like they were doing since 1998. Finally, I have the chance to implement collaborative working here, but I’m having problems to understand the best uses of Adobe Cloud.

      Do you use it in your companies? Do it work well? People really use all those features, like “send PDF for approval”, comments, InCopy etc?

      Any opinion will be welcome.

      I’ve not used the Adobe Cloud for collaboration, so I don’t know specifically if it works well or not.
      I’d suggest creating a test project, and ask a few friends or teammates to simulate the workflow. Add files, test the commenting and file management, evaluate the ease/difficulty of communication, and look for any pitfalls that may show up.
      I have used Box.com and am crazy pleased, functioning basically as a server for a team of 15 workers all in various separate locations over a three-year period. The tools there help to keep users from inadvertently overwriting files. While our projects contained thousands of files, it may be that Adobe Cloud can function for smaller teams with fewer files just fine.
      BTW: welcome to the 21st century. I continue to encounter folks who remain in 1989!

        We are performing some tests and until now, Adobe Cloud seems to work fine. I like some extra tools they have, but people will not use them (I’ll try anyway).

        Our main problem here is we work in 32 languages, so things need to be very organized. It’s working, but need to rely on some people that can work in this way.

        Thanks for the welcome message. :) It was my dream to work in the new century. I still have clients printing the PDF and sending pictures of the page with comments…
