      Is it possible to exclude some layers while checking the spelling?

      I'm working on a brochure with multiple languages in different layers. InDesign CS5

      Could you apply this to your brochure? i.e. select all text from the layer to exclude and set it to “No language”.

      Thanks. But I think that solution is not worthwhile because the text flow on these layers will be different then. And it requires some time to preparate.

      RomanuV was close, why not turn the layers you dont want checked to off then sellect all and tell indesign to check stories only.

      That's a nifty article. I've been wondering about this myself. Now if I could just figure out how to replace only certain instances of capitalization I'd be all set.
