I was playing with a polygon shape and decided to try the Illustrator trick of dragging out a polygon and then using arrow keys to change the number of sides and burst intensity (or whatever you call it). To my surprise it instead created a grid of shapes!

After a little trial and error, I figured out the space bar is a toggle between the grid/pattern of the current shape and changing the size/intensity.

I haven’t found any other documentation about this anywhere!

Thank you, Marc! That is a great find.
We did write it up, but it was a long time ago, so it’s not surprising that it was hard to find:

I always love finding new features in Adobe software, but I’m a curious and knowledge hungry person.

For example, I used to not know what GREP styles were years ago—so I decided to do a search. Now not only do I use Regular Expressions for GREP styles, but also in PDF form scripting and web development.

      Thanks for the link, David!
