Captions for tables and other non-image elements

      This is really more of an accessibility question. Sometimes we add text above a table or a text frame that says “Table 1: blah blah blah” or “Figure 1: blah blah blah;” in other words, it’s a caption for something other than a graphic frame. In the exported PDF, these “captions” are tagged as <P> or

    • (because of the list used in the paragraph style, for auto-numbering). We are trying to avoid remediating the PDF to change these tags to <caption> for assistive technologies to read properly. Is there a way to set these up in InDesign so that they are tagged as <caption> when the PDF is exported?
