I use Live Captions with some regularity. Is there a way to Import/Export existing Setups? There’s clearly nothing on the panel, and a quick Google search for a script produced no results.

      Thanks,
      Bob

Great question, Bob. No, I’ve never seen a way to do that. Too bad, as the captions dialog box really needs a way to save sets.

Thanks David. That’s what I thought.

For now it’s for proofing sheets that go a hair beyond a simple contact sheet. I’ll continue to Save As to another name and delete everything before assembling new sheets. I suppose a template file would work too.

Object Caption Setups are “Document Based” – they don’t travel with the objects to a new file, as you probably discovered.

You can setup the Captions with no documents open – and this will be the new setting for all new documents. If you did this before creating your indt file – then all your templates should have this when opening a new file.

Or creating a new file from scratch, it will be the default settings for you captions going forward.

All other pre-created documents would be unaffected.
