Can’t type mixed fonts (Farsi and English) together in CC 2017?

      Hi

      ? (in CC 2017) ?
I type a body text mostly in Farsi Language (right to left) similar to Hebrew and Arabic. ?Also, I have some Latin words, mostly in English Language in between words. When I ?type Farsi, everything is ok (I set to Arabic Language in the Character Panel, because ?Farsi doesn’t exist!), but when I switch to English Language to insert English words, pink-?highlighted rectangles (Substituted Font feature is on) appear instead of proper and ?legible English words! And worse than when I switch back to Farsi, cursor jumps to ?beginning the line! I didn’t any problem with the previous versions of Adobe InDesign ?for years. I can’t understand it. ?

I opened an .indd file was saved with a few previous of Adobe InDesign (I guess 2014 ?version) and Farsi Language in the Character Panel shows between parenthesis. Does ?this mean Farsi no longer in CC 2017? I think the problem back to Farsi fonts, because ?when I chose an Arabic font, the English words between Farsi words appeared correct ??(not those strange rectangles), and when change again the font to a Farsi font, the ?rectangles (actually English words) back. ?

Also, I have this problem in Adobe Illustrator, in there, when I switch back from Farsi to ?English, cursor jumps to the beginning of the line and type English letters well, but in ?inappropriate place, not after Farsi words.?

      Thanks
      Masoud
