    I’m having a problem installing Blatner Tools. It seems that the installer can’t find InDesign CC. The error message says that “Adobe InDesign must be installed to install Blatner Tools”. I running InDesign CC on Windows 8. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    @Paul: Sorry you’re having trouble with this. It’s probably better to contact DTP Tools directly about their plug-ins. But in this case, I can tell you the problem: Blatner Tools has not yet been updated to work with InDesign CC! Their site says that it’s currently only working with CS4 to CS6. They are working on an update.

    (All plug-ins have to be updated for each new version of InDesign, and it almost always takes a few months for them to be able to update them. Some simpler plug-ins can be updated faster. But Blatner Tools is actually something like 12 different plug-ins in a suite, so unfortunately it’s taking them longer.)

      G’day David

      Have emailed Jan at DTP tools three times but had no reply.

      Are you able to provide an update as to when Blatner Tools is expected to be updated Indesign CC.
