Can I run spell check automatically when I save a document?

      Topic title says it all.
      I want to have check spelling run automatically every time I save a document.
      I can create a new keyboard shortcut that uses command-s to run a spell check, then go to the file menu to save the file. But I want to skip the step of going to the file menu to save and have a spell check run and have the file save when I hit command-s.
