    I have a tech book that has Caution boxes. Each caution paragraph uses a “CA” paragraph style, where Paragraph Shading is On and set to a light orange color. Within a few Caution boxes, some words have a “B” character style, where the Font Style is set to Bold. All looks great in print and PDF.

    But, upon export to ePub, the orange shading stops abruptly at the bold word and begins again after the bold word.

    There is no way to create a character style that is bold with orange shading. Is there any way to have one word in a paragraph be bold and have the paragraph shading show through?
