In a spiral bound or a 3 hold punch, 10 page document, would you suggest making the inner margin (where the binding would be) wider than the outer margins or should they be symmetrical?
I found some info that said a safe bet is to make the inner (binding) margins 10mm. What would you all suggest? I am new to this. Thanks!

Also, when I click on facing pages in the document set up box, and my my margins…will it automatically create 2 master pages for me (one for right pages, one for left pages) and will the inset margins be reflected correctly depending if the page is right or left or do I have to manually go into each master slide and make sure the margins are correct for that page side? Does tha tmake sense?

      Thanks

I can’t help so far as a recommendation for the margins you should use, but recommend you check with the person who is going to be printing it.

So far as facing pages–if you select facing pages, then you will get a right- and a left-handed page. The master page will appear as a spread. The margins will be correct.

For example, if you had entered a 6 pica outside margin and a 4p6 inside margin, both pages will have those margins, so you won’t need to manually adjust them.
