      hello

Does anyone know the best way to add audio clips to an epub?

Adobe explains how to ad video in one of their videoes, and says the video is embedded via a “video tag” created in the media panel and says the same encoding accounts for added audio — but they don't say if this happens automatically or some form of coding is added afterwards?

I can't seem to make it work no matter how I use the media panel or export the epub.

Does this work with the iBook reader exclusively, or is there a way to make audio work in all readeres?

I am pretty sure that it is only iBooks at this point. I think it basically ends up as a video tag.

I haven't tried an audio file. Can you use the Media panel to have it start playing on page turn? Or else you may need to touch/click it to start it.

That is problem — you do not get the same control over audio clips as with video.

I'd like to ad a buttun feature to make the audio start.

      The research continues.
