Best method for Indesign to Word Conversion

      Hate to ask this as I really hate word but…

      Customer is requesting to have my indesign file converted to word so that they can make alterations (total waste of time)

      Need the best way to convert with ability for customer to edit text.

      I have tried a few on line but it seems as soon as you try to do forms all you get is an image of the indesign job not editable txt

      Recosoft make a product that does this, however it costs money, have you told you client that this service will incur a significant cost? It may make them rethink, how about just giving them the text from the ID file? Text exporter is very good for this. Good luck :)

      Thank you everyone for in input.

      Tournier: script is alright if you just want the text to be in word, it does that pretty good.

      was hoping to keep some of the layout but as I have no idea about word I am not sure that this is even possible. ie keep the lines of the form and the text in the right location.

      Tim: Will look into Recosoft and see what its all about.
