      Hey all –

      If you have magazine or book pages (text + images) in Indesign, and you want to use them as portfolio images on an Adobe Muse website, what's the best export path and setting? Would you start by exporting the page to an RGB Jpeg and then open in Photoshop & save for web? Or start with a PDF (and then do what with it?)? I want to have sharp text and images so it can zoom up in a slideshow and still be crisp.

      Thanks for your help!

      @mchak

      Have you considered an external link to a PDF slideshow?

      Until Muse has SVG support, your options seem limited under the parameters given. Even then it would be a chore: InDesign > PDF > open in AI > save as SVG.

      Someone knowledgeable about HTML and XML may have other ideas.

      For now, I'm exporting the page as a 150 dpi jpeg (just to make sure I have extra resolution to start with), and the opening that in Photoshop and doing Save for web, and making a new .jpg with appox 70% quality at about 600 pixels wide. So, it's all being rasterized. I wish there was a better way.

      If anyone knows of a better workflow, please advise! Thanks.
