Balance columns doesn't work

      I’ve watched all the “how to balance columns” tuts I found online, but it seems that everyone uses Text Frame Option to split the text into columns and from there, you can have the balance columns option. But in my case, my body text splits into columns using “Span Columns” in the paragraph style, then where can I find the option for balancing column in this situation? Text frame option doesn’t work.

      I don’t think balanced columns work with that – but it is an odd way to make columns – why dont use InDesigns ordinary way, and only use “span columns on headlines?
