Automatize press review

      I been using Indesign for years and usually need to create press reviews. My source (for the digital part) is a text table divided in tree columns (date, masthead and URL). I have to create a layout that contains

      1. date and masthead (hyperlinked with the URL in the tab)
      2. representative image of the masthead (already correctly resized and named)

      I have 6 ore 8 articles in every page.

      Is there a chance to use a script or something that can automatize at least automate one phase? Currently I manually
      1. copy/paste date and masthead
      2. copy/paste url and create hyperlink
      3. insert the relative masthead images

      I’m waisting so much time for a monkey job. Thanks everyone for your help.

      Use data merge!

      I can’t use data merge for hyperlinks, I can only create a QR code and they are not interactive in the PDF.

      If you convert the GR code into a button, and add the same URL as the hyperlink, you can then use the QR code as a clickable button in the PDF.

      I know I can add the hyperlink to the QR code by clicking on it, but not during the data merge process. Am I right?
      I need to automat this, otherwise I have to copy and paste them manually anyway.
