      Can I insert the translated text from Excel and automatically replace it in InDesign?

      Can you provide more information? Are you talking about removing text from InDesign, then translating it, and then putting it back in to InDesign? I do not know of any way to do that.

      The Data Merge feature in InDesign can merge CSV data into an InDesign file.

      Dear David,

      thanks for the prompt reply.

      Translations of text (FR – CRO) we do first in Excel and we are looking for a way to connect and automatically change the same text in the catalog. The catalog has 300 Indesign pages and we want to avoid duplicate translations Excel + Indesign.

      Interesting! So you want an automated “find/change” that changes everything in the spreadsheet? You may be able to find a way to convert the spreadsheet into a file that findchangebylist.jsx could use. However, I wonder if MultiFindChange (from https://automatication.com) would work?
