I’m wondering is there is a way to apply an Overprint Attribute to a Spot color’s fill and to also apply an Overprint Attribute to the same Spot Color’s stroke (if a stroke is used).

      Example:
I have a picture book interior file and the text is TextPlate (100K spot color). For co-edition purposes I need to ensure that all text overprints the 4/c artwork. To do so, I run a Find/Change query which finds all characters with a fill of TextPlate that currently are not set to overprint and changes them. This works fine, but I am then faced with finding any characters that also have a TextPlate stroke and changing those to overprint. I am currently doing this by running an additional Find/Change query to handle the stroke.

What I am wondering is there any way I can do all of this in one action?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The only full find/change color feature I know of is in the Blatner Tools suite (blatnertools.com). It’s in public beta for CC now, with information about how to get it on the web site.

@David seems like your website is not working, while I’m opening https://blatnertools.com/?nr=0 it says that “This domain registration expired on 10/23/2014”, and on https://www.dtptools.com/product.asp?id=blid there is no version for CC – can you check it one more time and let us know where we can find latest blatnertools for CC?

Oh my gosh, you’re right. That’s embarrassing. I will contact them right away. Thanks!

I’m sorry for the confusion; for CC, please see: https://www.dtptools.com/product.asp?id=dcid
You’ll need to contact them directly (support at dtptools.com) to get on the beta.
