AppleScript to add guides inside the trim area

      Hi,

      I’m looking for a script that will automatically add guides at 0.25 inch inside the Trim marks on all the four sides of an active document.

      Before inserting the new guides, the script should remove the existing guides from the page.

      Document page size will be different every time.

      Any idea?

      You could use Layout>Create Guides

      And this will create guides where you need – there’s an option to Remove Guides.

      If you need it on all pages, you can use the Master Page(s)

      Sorry Eugene, that’s not what I was looking for. I do not want to make a grid with guides. However, we have consulted a programmer and are working on it. Anyway thanks for your suggestions.
