Is there a specific grep query for a normal (not tab, en, em, etc) space?

    • #59403

Sure. Here it is, on the next line, between brackets:

      ( )

Just copy and paste into the GREP field.

All fun aside: did you ask because “s” grabs every kind of whitespace? (As per its description.) There are lots of special GREP codes, but there are even more 'regular' characters that don't need any special handling … a single space is one of them.

Howdy – yeah, what I needed to do was essentially fix some double spaces, but not fix double tabs that were intentional. Somehow I didn't think to just do it the literal logical way :P
