I am creating an interactive PDF with an animation on the cover page. I would like to also have a button for the reader to click to move to the next page in the document. I created the cover animation, exported as SWF, placed in back into the InD file, controlled it with the Media panel. I also created a button on the cover set to move to next page. If I hide the button, the animation works fine. If I show the button, it covers the animation regardless whether its layer is on top or below the animation in the InDesign file. And, the button doesn’t function correctly; rather than moving to the next page, the document bounces quickly to an inside spread then back to the cover.

Is there no way to have a full-page sized SWF placed and a button on top (or below) all work correctly? Thanks for any tips!
