      Hello,
can i anchor frame with outline (visualy marking area of image) on picture underneath?
That picture is anchored to text frame and i cant anchor that frame on it, nor group frame with anchored picture.
Goal should be frame marking that marksarea on image be attached to it, to not stay on same place if anchored picture moves with text.
      Thank you

I found workaround, bout someone coudl know better.
Copy anchored picture outside text frame, group with outlined frame and then paste it back inside text frame.

You could simply add stroke to that picture
In InDesign, all pictures come in frames, just give attributes to the frame of the picture

I think the solution of grouping the two frames together is the best one. A group acts like a single object, so you can anchor that group in the text frame.

R Dol: I don’t think that will work, because Richard wants to make a stroke on top of the picture, not around the whole picture. (Like a circle that highlights a part of the picture.)

I’ve encountered this before, and it can be tricky. One way to anchor a frame with an outline to a picture underneath is to group them together. Select both the frame with the outline and the anchored picture, then right-click and choose “Group.” This way, they’ll move together if the anchored picture shifts. Also, here you can find some more ideas for your frame frameshop.com.au. I hope that helps!
