New to this process, so maybe I’ve completely missed something, but: Most of the tutorials and articles I’ve seen on alternate layouts show a digital to digital Intent scenario. That allows you to choose “iPad” from the Page Size menu for your second layout. However, if you have a print intent doc you want to convert to digital, “iPad” is not found in the Page Size menu when you choose “Create alternate layout …” How does one accomplish this without changing the doc setup to digital first (and thereby blowing up the layout)?

Nick: What are you trying to do? Are you trying to make a print layout and an iPad layout in the same document? You bring up a good point about the limitation here. I think you’d just need to create the iPad page size manually.

Hi David. Thanks for the prompt reply. This is for a classroom exercise for our students. We have an existing print layout and wanted to show how to create an alternate layout for an iPad. But the “iPad” size option in not available. Thanks for confirming what we’ll have to do!
