Aligning selected objects

      In Illustrator, I am able to select objects (ie 4 items) by selecting first then shift clicking to select remaining 3. If I then (with all 4 still selected) click on 1 item and aligned say centered vertically, all items line up based of that last item I clicked. I forget the termiology for this (I know it’s not a ‘keyframe’, but something like this). Is there a way to accomplish this in In Design? Please let me know. Thank you.
