I create digital publishing apps with indesign. Inside indesign I was able to create folio’s and publish apps though adobe’s digital publishing suite directly to the itunes store, but this isnt the case anymore for 2015. Adobe is making us single freelance users create a enterprise account and pay thousands of dollars per month in order for us to continue to do what we’re doing as a freelancer. After I create my publication in indesign or photoshop, is there such a way to save it and manually submit it on my own without having to have adobe publish it for me? There are thousands of people who are up n arms with what adobe’s doing and there really are no answer’s. There are hopes for us publishing people and UI designers with this new program they announced at creative max called “Comet” which looks awesome, but still we really don’t know whats going to happen. Hopefully someone has some answers.

Comet is a prototyping tool, not a digital publishing tool. Adobe DPS is pretty clearly focused on the enterprise/business/large-scale market at this point. However, there are several other products from other companies you should explore (Twixl, Aquafadas, etc). Keith Gilbert will be covering the pros and cons of each in his tutorial at The InDesign Conference. If you can make it there it’ll be worthwhile.
