      Hi all,

There is a really obvious answer to this or none at all – can you add a style to an object (image or vector graphic) and include a percentage scale? I have documents that are required in different formats (point sizes/ page sizes) with many images per document and it would be handy to select a style, change the percentage to 75% as an example and all the images in the document reduce by that amount. Is this possible?

      Cheers

In CC 2018 and later you can apply a specific object size as part of the Object Style, but I don’t think you can set it as a percentage. You can also set Frame Fitting to fill frame proportionally, and turn on Auto-Size so that it will stay filled if the user changes the frame size.

Thanks David, I had look and while it’s an improvement adding the option to put a percentage in would be even better. Next stop Adobe…

      This could probably be scripted.

      Something like this maybe?:

ps: mind the reference point. Script doesn’t handle it…

Please note the script is based on an other one I wrote, so if I had to rewrite it, I would use the app.findObjectPreferences.appliedObjectStyles method instead of checking every object style.
It would be much more efficient, but I didn’t really have time to write a new script, so I just append the old one…

Thanks Vinny 38, just had a chance to try the script out and it is exactly what I have been looking for.

      Great work.

      Cheers
