How do you setup a PDF preflight profile that checks the page size of the PDF? I know that sounds like a simple question that has a simple answer, but I’ve been trying to get my profile to work, and it doesn’t.

If I make an 8.5×11 document in Indesign, make a PDF and then have the preflight in Acrobat check for a page size of 8.5 x 11 it works.
If I make the same document but add an 1/8″ bleed and then change the preflight in Acrobat to check for a page size of 8.5 x 11 with a tolerance of .25 add/minus…it works.

If I take that same page with the bleed but add crop marks, and then check the PDF page size in acrobat and use that size in the profile…it fails. Even though the size is listed in the lower left corner of acrobat it fails.

Has anyone else run into this issue before? I’m not sure what dimensions I need to check for in order for the profile to pass the page size.
