TGLC Launches New Software to Create ICC DeviceLink Profiles

TGLC inc. announced the launch of its new PerfX Device Link™ softwares, made to create ICC DeviceLink profiles.
This ICC profile’s type is used to reseparate CMYK process colors in order to optimize color reproduction based on the various printing processes, paper and ink used, while allowing to make ink savings through the GCR (Gray Component Replacement) black generation and ink coverage limit up to 200%.
PerfX Device Link™ can use CMYK and RGB ICC profiles made with other ICC profiling softwares, but takes specific advantages of the artificial intelligence processes used in ICC profiles made with the PerfX Color management™ series.
The ICC DeviceLink profiles, compatible with the majority of actual production workflows, allows to preserve many original color characteristics of the supplied files like keeping the black separation as black only, compared to color conversions made with basic ICC profiles.
PerfX Device Link™ also allows to create ICC DeviceLink profiles for RGB to CMYK conversions. Neutral RGB gray tones can be converted to black only, which make it easier to keep consistency while printing such neutral gray shades.
Two versions available:
1. PerfX Device Link Pro™ allows to:
• Create ICC DeviceLink profiles for CMYK to CMYK and RGB to CMYK conversions.
• Modify the black generation in order to optimize and save ink.
• Edit CMYK output curves of the ICC DeviceLink profile.
2. PerfX Device Link™ allows to:
• Create ICC DeviceLink profiles for CMYK to CMYK and RGB to CMYK conversions.
PerfX Device Link Pro™, the ideal tool for color optimization while saving ink!
