Teacup Announces Support for CS3 for BarcodeMaker, PatternMaker and TypeFitter
Teacup Software, Inc., a leading provider of plugins for Adobe InDesign, today announced the release of PatternMaker, BarcodeMaker, PatternPack and TypeFitter for InDesign CS3. The new versions offer various enhancements and improvements over previous versions, including new pattern presets for PatternMaker and BarcodeMaker, better scripting support and improved INX support for TypeFitter. Support for CS3 for Teacup’s other plug-ins, including ImageSwapper and DataLinker, is expected in Q3 of this year.
“CS-3 is a fantastic release, and we think our customers are going to be even more productive with these new versions,” says Teacup’s president and founder, Lawrence Horwitz. “We’re excited about the new presets feature in the pattern plug-ins, and the improved scripting support is going to be a real boon for our customers trying to automate things like barcode creation.”
Pattern Presets
Teacup’s three pattern plug-ins (PatternMaker, PatternPack and BarcodeMaker) now have a new feature called Pattern Presets that group together all the settings in a pattern into a single preset. Users can apply all the settings in a preset just by choosing from a simple dropdown menu. By saving all their settings into a preset, users will save themselves from having to reset all the pattern settings every time they want to use one.
Availability and Pricing
The new version are available for download and purchase from Teacup’s website at www.teacupsoftware.com. Upgrade pricing is available for customers of the CS and CS2 versions. Pricing is as follows:
PatternMaker: Free
TypeFitter: $59
PatternPack: $99
BarcodeMaker: $149
