Sundance Photographic Workshop Series Commences

Sundance Resort announces the start of its new Photographic Workshop Series, designed to provide instruction and inspiration to photographers of all abilities in the magnificent surroundings of Sundance and Mt. Timpanogos. Classes are slated to begin on August 28, 2006.
With its vast undisturbed wilderness and stunning scenery, Sundance is the ideal location to stimulate photographic artistry and creativity in aspiring photographers, serious amateur photographers, and photo enthusiasts. The format and structure of the weeklong programs will incorporate, maximize, and complement the venue and all that it embodies.
“Matching our Workshop to all that Sundance represents means offering small, intimate classes with world-renowned photographers,” said Hilary Cole, who along with John Cole, will manage the workshops. “It means an enthusiastic exchange between peers and instructors, and ensuring that students are well-grounded in the fundamentals of photography while providing ample opportunities for creative exploration. It also means welcoming all students with hospitality, great food, and the chance to make lasting friendships in a spectacular natural setting.”
The series of four weeklong workshops will feature some of the world’s most skilled photographers – professionals who not only excel in their field but who are also acclaimed instructors.
With only 15 students or less per class, the curriculum will cover a variety of photographic genre, including landscape, wildlife, studio portraiture, travel, and sports, and vary by season.
