Soup's On! Print Soup, that Is
What with magazines, newspapers, books, conferences, TV, the Web, friends, family, and your mom, there’s no lack of advice on an infinite number of subjects. The problem, of course, is whether you can count on the advice to be genuine and accurate. (Sorry, Mom.) The blessing and curse of the Web in particular is that anyone with a connection can share information and ideas.
A few simple guidelines help you separate the wheat from the chaff:
Go with a name you trust. Trusted advice comes from names and organizations you’ve come to know and trust over time.
Get a second opinion. While we’re attracted to like-minded people, it’s always good to get a second and sometimes conflicting opinion.
When you have all the facts, go with your gut. In the end, you have to make the decision about whatever it is you’re trying to decide upon, so weigh the facts you’ve gathered and decide.
When it comes to advice on commercial printing, there’s a new source from an old friend, PrintingForLess.com. Print Soup, the official blog of PrintingForLess.com, recently re-launched with a new look and team of contributors specializing in a range of topics, including commercial printing, running a business, developing a positive culture, design tips, marketing, and what we like to do for fun in southwest Montana.
You can join the conversation while getting genuine and accurate advice from a company that has dedicated itself to making its customers more successful through the use of professionally printed materials.
