Size Your Site Right with Web Canvas
Communications strategy firm Methodologie is generously sharing Web Canvas, a chart that helps you visualize how many people can view sites that range from 760 x 420 pixels to 1370 x 730 pixels.
Web Canvas isn’t based solely on the firm’s experience (though that’s considerable.) It’s based on data from two well-known sources of screen resolution statistics and careful measurements of browser chrome (menus, scrollbars, etc.).
Visit the Methodologie site to view Web Canvas in your browser; download the Web Canvas Firefox add-on; learn how to choose the right size for your target audience; and get details on the data sources behind the Web Canvas calculations.
Thanks to Methodologie for making this resource available for free!
