Close InDesign and search for a file called .idlk be sure to find hidden files too.

More here about it https://creativepro.com/can…..k-file.php

Basically I think it's trying to recover a document, this happens after indesign crashes and you were in the middle of a project. A .idlk file is generated when you open a file, so that your InDesign file is locked and nobody else can have it open at the same time. When you open InDesign and it sees a .idlk file that wasn't deleted after the file was closed, it will try to recover the InDesign file from it's automatic backup files.

If you try to restore from the dialog box you posted and it keeps bottoming out, you can try searching for the idlk file and delete it, and the prompt won't come up again.

You should also check your backup files which should be located (on Windows) C:\Documents and Settingsank\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 5.0\InDesign Recovery

And you can remove recovery files from there, but you should make double sure that you're not deleting files that you need.
