The clue is how you created the “objects.” You made them on the master page, then overrode them, then duplicated the pages. If you duplicated the pages and then overrode the objects on each page, one at a time, it would probably be more reliable. But when you duplicate the pages, ID must create each page object… and it probably starts with the “last one first” (LIFO).
