I just tried it on a different Mac, but no luck.

My mac already has several versions of Indesign, so I would have made sense why it didn't work. But the other mac (which only has CS4) had the same problem.

The installation message is in dutch, but it said

“can't continue with the installation, because indesign is already installed on this system. If you want to reinstall indesign, please use the installation setup used for your current Indesign”.
