The reason I was exporting the file to myself as an IDML file is because I read on the net that it might work to then use the same IDML back into your Indesign to avoid crashing. SO, it sounds like that could be clue as why? I also just posted above that I have four items that I was changing to bulleted items, and I was able to do the first three, but ALWAYS crash if I try to bullet the fourth one.
