Gert is right. The trick is getting the imposition correct. I do lots of these lanyards with names on front and back. It sounds like your back side is common to all lanyards, so it shouldn't be a big issue. Just be sure you lay out the front and back sides correctly in relation to each other so they will print the right way.

As for flipping the paper manually, this is a printer issue, not InDesign. If you printer can print duplex, you need to go to the printer settings in the print dialog to set that up. Otherwise, you will have to manually put the paper in twice.

Note that some desktop printers that do duplex have very strange behaviors when they do, and will resize the image, or change the margins. It may be the best to do it manually anyway if you need precise image placement.
