Reply To: Missing Font – a really bizarre issue

I’m not using anything like Suitcase/Fuiision just the normal Font folder in Windows 10.

But I think you might have the answer. There is a Fonts folder in the folder containing the INDD file. The file is in a package folder.

And if I save, then open, the copy of the InDesign File in the same folder as the original file, I do not get the missing Font error.

Is the Indesign File in a package folder different from the same Indesign file in its original folder.

I thought that Indesign file picked up their fonts from the WEindows Font folder. Certainly I don’t creat a special fonts folder when I start a new Indesign project from scratch. And thos missing Fonts ARE in my Windows fonts.
