However, it’s the size on the layout rather than file size

Linking or importing produces the same result – massive PNG files throwing the layout out

I can manually adjust sizes, but I’ll be dealing with potentially thousands of these files so need a way of (preferably) linking the Word document on import, but the PNG files coming in at their original dimensions

Any suggestions on that one?
