Quark Brings Layout Creation to the iPad with DesignPad
Quark DesignPad is a new free app from Quark for the iPad that allows users to quickly create grid-based designs for a variety of project types, and then share those layouts or continue working on them in Quark XPress.
With Quark DesignPad, you can start by selecting from a set of layout types, ranging from brochures and business cards to display ads and newsletters

Layout controls allow users to adjust several options, or to “roll the dice” and get a new random layout.

To add content, you can copy and paste text or type it directly into the layouts. Photos on your iPad can be placed into layouts, or you can select from stock photos that are provided.
Tapping on elements in the layout brings up controls to adjust tagging and formatting attributes for boxes, text, and photos.

When you’re done with a layout, you can send a PNG file of it via email or Twitter. You can also get a download link to retrieve the layout as a QXP file so you can continue working on it in Quark XPress.

You can download Quark DesignPad free from iTunes.
