Put a Printer in Your Pocket
Combine an Roomba with an inkjet printer, shrink it down to the size of a muffin, and what do you get? Something like the Pocket Printer being developed by ZUtA Labs, and funded on Kickstarter. The tiny device is essentially a wireless printhead on wheels that can turn and drive in any direction, spraying ink as it goes.
The Kickstarter campaign runs through May 10, 2014, and right now you can reserve a printer in black or white for a pledge of $200. Expected delivery is January 2015.
If this product works as advertised you really will be able to bring your office with you anywhere you go. Then you’ll just have to worry about getting crumbs in your printer as it whizzes across the table at Starbucks.
