Photoshop New Features Guide
For some time, InDesign users have enjoyed a great free resource that details which features debuted with each new version of the program, all the way back to version 1.0. I’m talking about James Wamser’s InDesign New Features Guide, which you can read about at InDesignSecrets.
To me, the InDesign New Features Guide is indispensable and I refer to it all the time. So I’m really excited that James recently put together a similar guide for Photoshop!
The Photoshop New Features Guide is 114 pages long, and packed with all the important information anyone would want to know about Photoshop features. It covers 15 versions of Photoshop, from CS to the present, and it is easy to navigate. You can browse by version, or look up a specific feature in the index.

And it shows not just a list of features, but what each one actually does.

I also love how it lists features that were removed, so you get the full picture of the evolution of Photoshop.

And as if that weren’t enough, the guide also sports a list of important Photoshop resources.

You can view the Photoshop New Features Guide via Adobe Publish Online, where you can also download a PDF version to keep.
Thank you, James!
